Border Café is a 2005 Iranian Farsi language film directed by Kambuzia Partovi. It was Iran‘s submission in the Best Foreign Film category for the 2006 Academy Awards.

NMAA‘s Dr. Simon Rettig, Associate Curator will talk on the once in a lifetime exhibit "An Epic of Kings:The Great Mongol Shahnama" closing January 12, 2025. Completed in 1010, the Shahnama ("Book of Kings") is considered to be Iran‘s national epic.
